SUMMARY: This graphic novel explores the bond of friendship between a dog and a robot. After a wonderful day frolicking at the beach, the friendship is tested when the dog mournfully abandons the robot because the robot is unable to move (too much rust from swimming). The story examines what happens to both characters, how a friendship can be tested yet endure and how relationships can be found in many different forms and places. This is done using a monthly format and by examining both of the characters' perspectives and through dream sequences.
