SUMMARY: King Ethelbert is a kid and ruler of Portocristo. Anything he says goes and whatever he wants he gets, even if it is bizarre or harebrained. Young King Ethelbert has many adventures, such as traveling to prehistoric times to bring back a dinosaur, visiting the North Pole to find out if Santa eats perfectly balanced meals, or taking a tour of India. You can see him test his bodyguard by putting a price on his own head and swap his own country's kids for Ethelbert robots and other zany adventures that end as the King heroically saves his people in an attempt to get a book written about himself.

WHO WOULD LOVE THIS BOOK? A kid who...
- enjoys silly or zany humour
- is good with words and enjoys challenging words

WHAT ELSE? Each chapter in the book is one of Ethelbert's adventures and can be read in isolation without any prior knowledge. It makes this easy to read with natural pauses to stop at and come back to later.
