SUMMARY: This is an autobiographical story about a young girl named Siena who loves to dance. She begins to take lessons in her homeland of Puerto Rico at the age of six. Later her family moves to Boston and she continues to take dance lessons, where she is inspired by the great dances of the Bolshoi. Siena moves to New York city to attend the prestigious American Ballet Company. The book describes her hard work and struggles to become a famous ballerina. In the end Sienna suffers an ankle injury that ends her dream.
