Reflect |
Reflection is thinking about the information gathered from observation, plus talking with parents or other adults who have knowledge of the child. Through reflection teachers strive to identify skills children need to learn and develop goals for the child.
Think about all of the evidence you have gathered from observation and from talking to the child and adults who know the child.
It is through reflection that teachers can identify the skills and strategies children need to learn.
Setting goals for children is the final phase of the reflecting process. Goals help teachers plan appropriate intervention strategies.
