100th Day of School

Kindergarten Registration

It's Kindergarten Registration time.
Throughout the district, next September's group of new students and their parents are invited to visit their local community school to see the excellent Early Years' program available. Doors are open to parents on February 10 and the registration period itself is February 9-20.
The resources at this site give our community a look at the first class education offered at Greater Essex County Public Schools.

Another resource wiki is now up and available for all who wish to visit. At Talbot Trail's Library Wiki, check out the resources for using Webcat or learn the details behind effective internet searching.
Grade 4 students are currently directed to some appropriate resources for their investigations of Regions of Canada.
Notebook Resources
The implementation of SMART Boards has resulted in all kinds of excitement and heightened student engagement in our schools. As we learn all about the effectiveness and what are the best practices for the technology, folks are not hiding their efforts.
Log into FirstClass, go to Public Conferences, and then Computers in the Classroom to a folder entitled SMART Notebook sharing. You'll have instant access to documents that have proved to be tried and true to the Ontario Curriculum by GECDSB educators.
Resources can be added daily so check those red flags often.
