iPod Touch and iPhone Applications
So, what did you get for Christmas? If you're like so many of the lucky folks, you may have found a new iPod Touch or iPhone under your Christmas tree. According to Apple, there are now over 100 000 applications on their website to load up your device. But, where to start?
Here are ten of my favourites.
FirstClass Mobile
This gives you access to our FirstClass system so that you can be sure of never missing an important email.

Evernote
Couple this with the free web site and
you have no more excuses for not having access to your notes and messages. They're all synchronized there.

CoolIris
Like plug-in for Firefox, search for images on a 3D wall and quickly scroll through the images to find one that you want. When you find it, click on the image for a larger view and email the link to yourself for further use on your desktop.

Google
If you use the services of this popular site (and who doesn't), they're all there, accessible from one spot.

Bing
Similarly, if you want quick access to the Bing search engine, check out their portable application. You'll have search and maps and so much more quickly available from this application.

Photoshop Mobile
What would my newsletter be without a picture of Beauregard? Here he is, doing his one and only trick for a Christmas treat in the free Photoshop Mobile application.

NFB Films
From the National Film Board, check out the great content. My first, and favourite NFB film to be played was Roch Carrier's "The Sweater".

Ted
If you're looking for videos, some of the very best inspiration titles are from the TED talks and they've built an application for that.

World Wiki
If you're in need of quick and immediate information about the countries of the world, the World Wiki has it quickly and just a tap away.

History Maps
I've always enjoyed maps and mapmaking. This application has some beautiful maps from many time eras. Check out the world in 1914.
