Embedding
We know that, with all of our tools, embedding is such an important skill to have. The nice thing about working with Frames 4 is that it produces files that are easily embedded in many of the environments that we use regularly.

I need to create a little movie to use as an example so I scour the ol' hard drive for my favourite mode, Beauregard. I find three images that I'd like to include and put them on the stage. I'll let each image appear for 2 seconds and then move to the next.

With that, I'll repeat the pattern a number of times. From http://www.flyinghands.com, I'm able to grab a free thirty second movie track and place it on the timeline.

From the Make Menu, I'll create a document suitable for use on the web by selecting Adobe Flash as the type of file. Now, where can I embed it?

How about below?

Content on this page requires a newer version of Adobe Flash Player.

Get Adobe Flash player

Where else could we embed a Flash object? Certainly any wiki that supports Flash objects. Just upload the movie and away you go.

But, there's another place. In the SMART Notebook software, check out the Insert Menu. From this menu, you'll note the option to insert a Flash file.

Does it get any easier than this? If you've created any drawing or pictures or ..., you no longer need to head off to the Internet and use a web-based animation package ... you've got one in Frames 4.
