Getting to Dowswell

It used to be easier to find when the big sign out front indicated that behind it was the J.A.Dowswell Building and that it housed Plant Operations, Student Services, and the the Program Department. But, we're not the principals tenants any longer.

The J.A.Dowswell Building is the new home of the Essex Retirees Social Club and the new sign at the corner of Centre and Russell Streets in Essex says so! However, the Teaching and Learning with Computers Centre remains in the building.

From the Day Street side, there is access to the parking lot at the rear of the building. Those who have come to Dowswell for Professional Development Activities in the past may have parked on Russell Street at the front of the building. That's not an option anymore. Parking in front of the building requires a handicap sticker. There is a fine for parking there now so be careful where you park.
