How many times have you said or heard someone said, "I wish that there were some lessons or resources to go along with this OSAPAC software"?. Ask no longer...the answer is here. At the OSAPAC website, there's a new link in the menu sidebar.
The Learning Materials Resource Repository is live and full of resources just waiting for you to access. At this time, clicking the link will pop open a new window on your computer and display all of the resources available.
The resource browser lets you reorder the display by title or subject. Or, you can pick a particular grade to see the learning resources that have been identified. Once you've determined what type of resources that you'd like displayed, scroll through the list and find the particular software. When you find the software title, take a look at the resources that are available. There will be a link to the resource. Click the link, save it to your disk and you've got it. For example, if I'm looking for something for the newly licensed Microsoft Publisher 2000/2002, I would find the following.
Derek Floyd from the University of Western Ontario has product a pretty comprehensive user manual for Microsoft Publisher that he wishes to share with the world. Click the filename "mspub2002.pdf" and it's yours! As this resource matures and starts to gather more and more resource, it is planned to have more sophisticated searching ability and counters on the resources so that you can see what are the hot downloads. Visit the repository and check out the resources that are currently available. If you have something to share, send an email message to contact@osapac.org to find out the upload details.
