Sandwich Robotics

Sandwich Secondary School has a very active and competitive Robotics team. They also have a very comprehensive web site to share with everyone all of their accomplishments.

Robotics puts students to the test. To be successful, the team needs to practice regularly. Then, they put their skills to the test in competitions against other schools.

On the Sabre Robotics website, follow the team as they compete against other schools from Ontario and beyond.

eTeacher4 Support
http://www.gecdsb.on.ca/d&g/eteacher4/

Changes in the Ontario Curriculum has made it necessary to upgrade the eTeacher program that is used to create elementary school report cards. There are some subtle changes to the program but experienced eTeacher3 teachers should have no problem with the new program.

In case, a help site with some of the commonly used features is posted to the board's webserver. If you get in a bind, click on over.

Online Databases
http://www.gecdsb.on.ca/d&g/portal/subscriptions.htm

From the Student Reference Portal, there are links to all kinds of databases that are available for students and teachers to conduct their research. Some are free on the internet and others are password protected. With the appropriate password, they are accessible both at school and from at home.

Recently, the Knowledge Ontario initiative has promised even more access to commercial databases for students and teachers. Consequently, it was decided to create an online Virtual Library link page to these databases.

This resource can be accessed from the Student Reference Portal or directly from the link above. If you require the remote password to access these resources from at home, contact your school's teacher librarian.
