Old
Versions
http://www.oldversion.com/
Their motto
is "newer isn't always better". In this day and age, developers are
constantly trying to make their programs the answer to every conceivable
question.
The result usually is a bigger program, requiring more resources, and
written to work with Windows XP or Windows Vista. When the older versions
go missing on a developer's web site, you may have a problem. What
to do?

Head over
to OldVersion! Here you'll find some of the classics. It may well be
that you want an old copy of something that you purchased. Or, maybe
you're just bored and always wondered what Internet Explorer 1.0 looked
like. After all, it was only 1.0MB in size. The most current version
is at least 15 times that size.
In addition
to being a nice repository for older versions, there are short product
enhancement summaries that do a nice job of describing just what the
program does.

Mathville 1
http://www.mathville.com/grade1/
Newly licensed
by the Ministry of Education is Mathville 1. There have been a number
of software titles licensed from Courseware Solutions over the years.
You've probably used Mathville Middle School, Kidway, Jungleway, Speedway,
Wordway and Spellway. Now, for the youngest of grades, there's Mathville
1.

What's unique about this licensed product
is that it is entirely web based. All that you need is the Flash player
active in your Internet browser. Because of this deployment, students
may use the Mathville 1 program both at home and at school for extra
work.
The catch? Access to the program is
password protected. Check with your school's CIESC after April 1 for
the Greater Essex County login and password.
