Lesson Plans

Wouldn't it be nice to find that "one" spot on the Internet that has everything for the classroom teacher. I'm not sure that a single site exists but this one has to be very close to utopia!

When you visit the site, the left menu bar lists the following areas: The Arts, Language Arts, Math, Other Lessons, Science, Social Studies, and Technology. Follow any of the areas to reveal an extremely comprehensive gateway to hundreds of lesson plans, ideas, and activities. Categorized by topic and by Grade level, it is very easy to zero in on lessons that fit virtually any topic that you would like to teach. Like most resources, they do tend to be very American but some modification and descriminatory evaluation makes them ideal for lesson planning to suit the Ontario Curriculum.

But the site is more than just a repository for lesson plans. At the site, you can subscribe to a newsletter that will be emailed to you focusing on various topics. Some of the recent topics addressed in the newsletter are:

The ultimate, of course, would be to share one or two of your very successful lessons or activities with the site.
