Despite all the requests
and advice, there are still folks who would like to access their FirstClass
email from at home (or even at work) using an internet browser such as
Internet Explorer.
It works
well and there are some times that you may be at a strange computer
in an internet cafe where you don't have the client and the browser
is your only option. With the recent round of report cards, there were
a large number of people who still needed or wanted to use a browser
to access their account from at home.
File transfers
became an interesting event.
How do
you do file transfers with your Internet Explorer browser? Read on.
To upload
a file take a few steps.
First,
start a new message and address it. Then, click on the Browse button
to locate the file that you would like to attach to the message.

Once you've located the file, Open it.
That's half the battle. To finalize the send, you must then click on
"Attach" to make sure that the attachment becomes part of your message.
Go ahead and save the message. Done.
If you're using the browser interface
consistently, give yourself a productivity boost. Get the client!
The
latest FirstClass Client downloads are always available here.
