Changes in the Ontario Curriculum has made it necessary to upgrade the eTeacher program that is used to create elementary school report cards. There are some subtle changes to the program but experienced eTeacher3 teachers should have no problem with the new program.

Another online publication hits the Internet.

This one is from Belle River District High School. The Noble Scene is a terrific production that illustrates what can happen when you get programmers, writers, photographers, poets, students, and teachers all focused on a goal.

In this case, the goal is to celebrate the very best eminating from Belle River. Follow the link above to check out the inaugural issue.


Media Literacy Internet Resources

A new page has been added to the GECDSB Computers in the Classroom website. This page will be devoted to identifying the very best of internet resources to assist addressing expectations in the new Media Literacy strand.

The initial content was generated from the elementary school Computers in Education School contacts and the content will grow as people suggest links to be included.

Ever wondered what it's like to be a Lion? Check out the site.

A photo gallery devoted to Student Life is a highlight for the site as you get a chance to see all of the terrific activities that have happened at the school.

A special link to Grade 8 students in the Leamington area provides good information about what it's going to be like in Grade 9, including a sample timetable.
