Hyperstudio does come with a set of clip art animations.  With this selection, you can get started with the fish or the helicopter, etc.  What do you do when that selection just doesn't have the perfect animation to fit into your burst of inspiration.

Well, first you need to consider just what an animation is as it applies to the Hyperstudio context.  Simply put, it's an animated GIF.  Where can you go to find all kinds of animated GIF files?  The Internet, of course.   And, it's a great source for them.

However, for good reasons, you don't want to turn your Hyperstudio activity into an Internet research lesson.  Where next?  Animated GIFs are as close as one of the other software packages licensed and at your school.

Claris Homepage comes complete with a number of animated GIF images that Hyperstudio handles very nicely.  Just navigate your way over to the animations directory from Claris Homepage.

To make things convenient, all of the animated GIFs are further organized by category.  So, pick the category or categories that you want and treat them like you would any other animation.
