The Hyperpage

This month ... building a project!

It's easy to sit down and have the concept of "My class is going to build a Hyperstudio stack".  After all, it's just a matter of putting together a number of cards, adding some text, some graphics, some sounds, some NBAs, ... and the list goes on and on.

If it's just one student putting a project together, it can be an exercise in memory deciding what the stack is going to look like.  With a couple of students, perhaps they can scribble down their plans and work collaboratively and make it somehow work out.  If it's a larger project or one that involves a lot of students, then the job of managing the project can become unmanageable.

If you've taken the Hyperstudio Minicourse, you will have received my booklet and one of the items in there was a document that Doris Schroeder and I put together for a presentation at the Ontario School Librarians' Conference a couple of years ago.

If you haven't taken the minicourse, you may want some tips.

At the Silly Billy website, Author Bill Dallis Lewis has prepare a terrific summary of things that need to be considered and planned for when you're putting together a big Hyperstudio project.  This is definitely a keeper.  It prints in just a few pages and is certainly something that you will wish to file away for reference in the years ahead.
