In support of Fort Malden National Historic Site of Canada the Greater Essex County District School Board welcomes you to an Internet Webquest, “Uncovering Local History - Creating a Digital History Scrapbook”. This webquest was developed to allow Grade 7 classrooms to marry the technology in the classroom with the physical visit to the museum.

Developed at San Diego State University, a WebQuest is “an inquiry-oriented activity in which most or all of the information used by learners is drawn from the Web. WebQuests are designed to use learners' time well, to focus on using information rather than looking for it, and to support learners' thinking at the levels of analysis, synthesis and evaluation.”
