What's New in Computers at GECDSB?
How about a couple new school webpages?
Taylor Public School was one of the unfortunate casualties of the web server crash. When the server hard drive died, so did their Internet presence. Thank goodness for backups!
Dustin O'Neil did some searching and managed to find the backup on one of the school's computers and the site has now been restored. Complete with a number of digital pictures from around the school, Taylor's web site features a musical interlude on its opening page.
The pride that goes with the staff, students and community is immediately evident as you follow the links to visit some of the resources online. Dustin is happy that the site has been restored and promises more updates in the near future!

M.S.Hetherington Public School
| What does this symbol mean? It means
that your school's web site has been chosen to receive
one of Schoolnet's Site Builders awards. In January 1999,
M.S.Hethering Public School won such an award! I received a very excited email from retired Vice-Principal Gary Gavin announcing the good news. It all points to the value that can be had from an elementary school web site. If you haven't visited the M.S.Hetherington site lately, perhaps it's time to make the effort. |
