Take Your Students on a Grammar Tour

The ICT Blended Solutions project was under contract to produce a number of classroom ready resources for Ontario Classrooms. At the ICT site, you'll find all of the ones that are currently production quality, with more on the way.

Using Tramline's TourMaker, Staci Neuts has created a Tour of the Internet for Grammar Resources. By following the appropriate link at the ICT site, you can begin your tour.

TourMaker's presentation is a number of open windows on the screen so it's best viewed with a setting of 1024 x 768. The website that you're currently visiting occupies the large window at the top of the screen. Student instructions appear at the bottom of the screen.

What's interesting is the navigation control panel. You're not going to use your browser controls while on the tour. You'll use the panel shown above.

The forward and back arrows let you navigate from stop to stop on the tour. It's not inconceivable that you may wish to return to a previously visited stop. The table of contents is shown by clicking on the compass and, if you want the complete script of the tour, just click on the document symbol.

The entire tour script can then be printed so that you can follow along as your students take this Grammar Tour!
