What New in Computers at GECDSB?

Despite the March Break, three of our schools had websites overhauled.

Victoria Public School

I guess the school grew tired of the "Amazing Victoria Public School Coffee Mug" and replaced it! Thanks to Ruth Bridgen, the site now features a history of the school along with greetings from the principal and the new support staff. Philosophy about Victoria Public School along with a newsletter from the SAC round out the new look to the website.

Percy P. McCallum

Upfront at the new Percy P. McCallum Public School website is a calendar of upcoming events. From the front page, the Internet visitor is invited to explore the various classrooms and take a look at some original student work. At the present time, there is a piece of artwork done by a Grade 1 student using the Kidpix program. Drop by the website, admire webmaster Michael Oddy's handiwork, and don't forget to sign the guestbook.

Anderdon Public School

The pride of Anderdon Public School is "Mustang Woods" and the new update to the Anderdon Public School features links to a description of just what is happening in the Woods. Webmaster Jenni Laing has also taken the time to feature some of the elements of the Science program at Anderdon and how it fits into Mustang Woods. When you visit the site, don't forget to check out the Sports section, the Creative efforts of Mr. Donohoo's and Mrs. Laing's class as well as the list of upcoming events.

Has your school recently updated its webpage? Let me know and I'll feature it here next month.
