First
Class Email Tips and Tricks
Have you ever been working along on First Class at home and then lose your connection to the Internet. It happens to all of us. Around here, the wetter the weather, the worse the phone lines. Have you ever been in the middle of editing a message when it happens? No problem, you figure, I'll just call back and finish the message. The only problem is that when you go back to finish the message, you are faced with a message like this:

Now, I love a conspiracy theory as much as the next person. Just WHO is editing my message?
Unfortunately, Mulder, there is no conspiracy this time around. It turns out that the guilty culprit is, in fact, YOU! When you lose your Internet connection, First Class doesn't immediately know that you had the unfortunate happening. If it happens, check to see "Who's Online" and you'll find that you are actually logged on twice! And, your second personality is still considered to be editing the message.
You won't be able to edit the message until First Class clues in and realizes that your other connection is not live and automatically disconnects it. The process takes about 5 minutes.
What do you do then? Well, you could spend 5 minutes perusing the Debates Conference, or you could select all of the text that you had originally typed and paste it into a new message and then finish your thought.
