For all of the talk about user friendliness and easy of doing things, the computer world is a very strange place.  Filled with bizarre terms and acronyms, how is a person supposed to stay abreast of all of this Geek Speak?  On one hand, people talk of HTTP vs. FTP vs. Gopher.  On another hand, the debate rages between TCP/IP and UDP.  Or, the plot thinks in debates about RAM and ROM and EPROM.  What is the difference between the Internet and the World Wide Web?

It's an intimidating environment.

But, to the rescue comes the Webopedia.  Your own personal dictionary and anonymous online guide is a terrific place to ask all of those questions that everyone talks about all the time.  But, do they really know what it means?

You'll know for sure when you check your facts with this site!
