Multimedia Festival

It's my favourite time of the computing year. All of the hard work from our young multimedia authors comes together into one spot and we get to enjoy it. The Festival culminates with a CD-ROM of all of the entries duplicated and shared to all schools.

What's so exciting about multimedia projects? It's the embodiment of all of the computer skills that we expect students to have and to demonstrate. There's keyboarding; there's storyboarding; there's digital imaging; there's collaboration; there's design elements ... the list goes on.

This year, we've moved past accepting only Hyperstudio stacks. I'm looking forward to enjoying Kidpix and iMovie creations as well.

Congratulations to all that participated. Look for the CD-ROM at your school soon. You may also wish to dig out the CD-ROMs from prior years to enjoy the whole set!
