With all of the ease of using our FirstClass system, it's still hard to take that not everyone uses the First Class client at home. Instead, they opt for logging in via the web interface. While it is functional, it still should be a last resource.

Get the client!

It's a free download from here.

When you've downloaded it, just run the installer. All that you need it to fill in the address of the server: 199.71.141.254 in the setup screen. Connect to the Internet and login just like you would on a school computer. It's literally that easy.

You should visit the First Class website for updates periodically. Each new release of the client gives you additional functionality and compatibility with our server. At the time of writing, the latest version of the client is 8.043.

To check your version, do the following. With Windows, select the Help Menu and then "About First Class® Client". With the Macintosh OS X, select the FirstClass menu and then "About FirstClass® Client".

Upgrade from your web browser to the client or from whatever client you currently have installed to the latest to make sure that you get the most from being online.
