Social Studies Webquests

In preparation for a Social Studies workshop, Michelle Chappus noted that there was some web rot in the selection of WebQuests for the Junior Years in the menus from a Social Studies project from a few years ago.

She's right and I did some trimming. The WebQuest Locator is checked for dead links regularly and so the links now send you directly there instead. I also used this as an opportunity to get rid of the bright red and blue and replace it with GECDSB teal.

Jack Miner Public School Website
Major surgery was done to the Jack Miner website with the result being a brilliant new appearance and updated resources. Now with lots more rollovers and new links, the site is very interesting to take a walk through.

Bursaries and Scholarships
It's the time of year when our graduates are starting to think seriously about colleges and universities. More importantly, how am I going to afford this?

The Financial Research page has a number of new Bursaries available. Money isn't everything but it is required to pay for the hefty bills for post-secondary education. Look also to links to the financial pages for all Ontario colleges and universities.
