The Hyperpage
This Month ... more experienced!
You'll recall that, last month, we talked of the advantages of being an experienced Hyperstudio user. It is important to be able to access those additional colours and certainly a lot of people wish to design stacks that have cards full screen size.
Another feature that Authority users have come accustomed to is the ability to recognize where buttons or hot spots are on the page. With Authority, when the user moved the mouse over a button, the button would actually flash on the screen. The user would then understand that they have their mouse sitting on a button and click to see what happens.
With Hyperstudio, experienced users have the ability to access a "button feature" menu. The "Features" button appears when you're placing your button. Click and the following menu appears.

Of greatest interest is the pull-down menu in the bottom left corner of the menu. From the list of icons that appear in that menu, select one.
Now, when your cursor moves over your buttons on the Hyperstudio stack, the cursor will change from the browser icon (the hand) to the icon that you've chosen. This is helpful for all buttons but really works well when you have invisible or area buttons and wish to direct the person using your stack in the right direction.
