Did you know that there is a mysterious virus that's going around and wiping out hard drives? It's called W###### and you need to protect yourself by going to your computer and deleting the entire directory located at: c:\. Messages like this are common and often people believe them. After all, in an increasingly electronic world where everything is so important, the last thing that we want is to lose everything. But, I heard about it on the Internet and I read about it in email. If we can't look beyond the fact that anybody can post anything, maybe we can check out a credible website before doing major surgery on your hard drive. Hoaxbusters exists to try to help.
