About this newsletter

GEC Computers in the Classroom is posted to the Greater Essex County District School Board web server on a monthly basis.

The tools used are licensed by the Ministry of Education. In particular, I use Macromedia Dreamweaver MX for the web authoring, Macromedia Fireworks MX for image editing and Macromedia Flash MX for any Flash that appears in the newsletter. Any clipart images that are used come from the Canadian Clipart Collection.

The podcast was created using Audacity for Windows and assembled using Garageband on the Macintosh.

The purpose of this newsletter is to provide information, ideas, and inspiration for Greater Essex County teachers about some of the latest issues surrounding computer and Internet use in the classroom.
