Language Arts

Normally, I look at these tongue in cheek sites, grin and move on. But, when Donna Marentette from the Windsor Public Library sent it on, I checked it out and then spent some time on it. And, I was hooked.

This site reviews the rules for the use of the apostrophe in the English language. (Two of them) In an entertaining fashion, the rules are presented, reviewed, and examples are provided to drive the point home.

It's a great spot to send students to review some of the rules of the English language. As an added bonus, check out the "More Problems" section to reveal when to use "less" and when to use "fewer".

This site is great, the content is appropriate and the message is delivered in a very effective fashion. I highly recommend it as an introduction or review of the use of the apostrophe!
