One of the options from the Student Reference Portal has always been a link to "Announcements". This link takes you to a reference page dealing with the latest breaking news from our schools.

Mary Dick, from the Director's Office, has a cadre of Key Communicators from each of our schools. As important things happen in the schools, they are posted on the First Class system in the Key Communicators' conference.

Events like this are real points of pride for schools and it's a shame not to share them with the world and the media.

So, the Announcements Page was created on the Board's website.

As new entries are received by the Key Communicators, they are transferred to the web site so that all can enjoy. A link back to the home page of the school making the announcement is provided so that individual schools can provide further details, news releases, pictures, etc. to enhance the announcement.
