First Class
First Class enables educators to work as teams. Teachers and educational administrators can use FirstClass as a centralized location for:
- curriculum and instructional support materials
- knowledge sharing among experienced and new educators and administrators
- school, district, and other teaching-related information
- best practices
- professional development
The Greater Essex County District School Board offers a full set of communication services through its First Class server. Online, members can access electronic mail, online conferencing, support frequently asked questions, update file utilities and programs, online chatting, and so much more.
The First Class server may be accessed by any properly configured computer in the Greater Essex County District School Board. If you cannot get enough at work, you could set up First Class on your home computer.
If you are a new employee of the Board, your Principal, Vice-Principal or Computer Site Contact will have to register a new user ID for you. The instructions for this are located within the links on the right.
