Expectations Assessment

The students will:

Manipulative Stage
The child:

  • explores with a wide variety of materials
  • experiments (glues various materials together randomly)

 

Symbolic Stage

  • begins to take pictures/objects that are recognizable to the child
  • names objects that have been created
  • develops an understanding of cause and effect
  • uses different strategies to make things

Organizational Stage
The child:

  • plans and organizes

  • end product is more realistic and detailed
