Class Tips and Hints |
It's the fall and, with the fall of the new school year comes new assignments and locations. The one thing that ties us together as a District is our First Class email and conferencing system. From here, a simply message contacts someone at a different location, identifies resources, shares ideas, and evens gets rid of that old fridge that's been in the basement for some time now. In addition to the functionality of the system, it's important to ensure that your resume is up to date. You will recall that every user on the First Class system must keep a resume up to date. Have you checked yours lately? At a bare minimum, your resume should contain your name and your location. But you also have the ability to include more things like: your title, position, telephone number, prep time, coaching, alternate email addresses, and more. To access your resume for first time setup, or to revise the current contents, simply head to your File Menu -- Open -- Resume. The current contents will be displayed and now it's up to you to add your content. Feel free to include colour, specialty fonts, etc. When you're on the First Class system, you have the ability to double click on the sender of that message about the fridge to find out just how far you have to drive to pick it up. Bottom line --- make sure that your resume is up to date! |
