Grover Trivia (Answers)

As Grover's career winds down, many tributes to him will undoubtedly be heard. However D&G Online, always looking for something new and different, offers the following --- "Grover Trivia". In tribute to all of the work that Grover has done with the Windsor Board of Education and the Greater Essex County District School Board, the following Trivia questions can only be answered using your knowledge of the Internet or your ability to use the tools that Grover has promoted over the years.

All answers must be validated by explaining how you determined the answer using the Internet. The facts must be straight, but extra credit will be given for originality!   1. Over the years, Grover has amassed a large number of Internet email addresses. At last count, there are 10 of them. (No wonder he is accused of never answering his email). How many can you name?

  2. Of course, he could never do it by himself, but Grover was once a "Featured Speaker" at a major computer conference. What conference, and what year?

  3. What on earth is a "Golden Grover"? Why would anyone want one? There actually is one recipient of a "Golden Grover". Who is it?

    At the above mentioned conference, a Golden Grover has suggested as a prize for exemplary web pages. It looks like this:

  4. In his retirement, Grover plans to attend a shuffleboard tournament in Bowling Green, Ohio. From his house, how long will it take him to get to the tournament and what roads will he travel? Hypothetically, let's say that he actually does the speed limit.
