ClarisWorks 5.0, which has been renamed Appleworks, is a great source of Assistants which will help you do tasks to help with classroom management. There are Homework To Do lists, projects, Writing an Essay and presentations under the School Curriculum assistants and seating plans, course outlines, grade book under the School Administration assistants. Check out the other Assistants available to you in this program. Other programs have Wizards that will help you to create documents useful in classroom management. Try using the Table feature in MS Publisher to create mark sheets and class lists. This is also a good place to design your daybook . Try using the computer to make your class newsletters. Once you have created documents that suit your needs, save them so that editing can be done when changes occur.
