First Class Email Tips and Tricks
When it's gone, is it gone? Not necessarily, if we're talking about the new First Class, version 5.5.
Here's the scenario. You've received that very important message. Inadvertently, you've highlighted the message and deleted it. Whoops, can you get it back?
If you have the new client, the answer is yes provided you act before the mail system does its "in the middle of the night maintenance". Here's how.
From the "View" menu on your title bar, select the option "Show Deleted Items".
All of a sudden, every message that you've deleted since the last maintenance appears. You'll note the ones that have been deleted by the appearance of the little garbage can.

You still can't read these deleted message just yet. Select the message that you wish to undelete by clicking on the message. Then, from the "File" menu, you'll notice that the "Undelete" option becomes available to you.

Select this option and your message will have been restored. It's like you never deleted it. If it's important, you may wish to print or otherwise archive the message. Then, delete the message again. At the next maintenance opportunity, it will be permanently erased.
