Social Studies and Geography

You can never have enough maps.  And, if you visit this site, you can print maps for hours on end.

Reportedly, the folks at National Geographic have provided us with about 1800 ways to view the world.  These views can certainly be viewed online but, even more help, they can be printed!  Provided that they are for non-commercial use, of course.

Navigation is accomplished by a button bar that appears across the top of your school.  You can pick a continent or zero right in immediately to Canada, the United States and Mexico.  Maps for provinces (such as Ontario above) and states are already preselected.

Once you've selected your desired map (they are kept up to date, in case you're in need of a Nunavut map), you are presented with the chance to convert the file to a GIF image or to an Adobe PDF file for sending to the printer.   I found that the PDF option was very handy.

So, never go wanting for a map again.  A few clicks and you're there.
