Geography: Grade 8 - Economic Systems

Overview

The study of economic systems focuses on the types of economic systems and the factors that influence them. Students analyse Canada's trade associations, employment trends, and economic relationships. They study the manufacturing process and distribution of products, and identify the interrelationships among the three types of industry.

2. describe the economic relationship between Canada and the global community (e.g., with respect to harvesting resources, manufacturing goods, the provision of services worldwide);
