Adult Correspondence/Independent Study

Credit Correspondence courses are available for adult students to complete at home and work toward their Ontario Secondary School Diploma. Students wishing to enroll in this program must:

  • Have Canadian Citizenship or Landed Immigrant Status
  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Have been out of school for a minimum of 6 months.


A credit assessment consultation is required by all students wishing to enter the Adult Correspondence Independent Study Program. This consultation will determine appropriate course placement.

Before scheduling an appointment, students need their:

    • Ontario Student Transcript and/or other academic documentation
    • Photo ID
    • Birth Certificate/Citizenship

Cost: $50 for Credit Assessment Consultation and 1 course, then $10 consumables fee per subsequent course.
