Over the past few years, Local Board, in cooperation with Ontario Workinfonet (OnWin), have been developing web-based inventories of programs and services. The public web site has recently been activated and can be viewed at http://ips.iwin.ca.
Although the site is still under development (the French version is on its way), it gives easy access to valuable information on current programs and services leading to employment offered in various communities across the province. MTCU is working with Local Boards in improving the quality of their databases to ensure complete accuracy of the information collected. The databases are updated on a regular basis which allows for quick adjustments, where necessary.
