Parent Associations (SEAC)
What is the Nomination Process?

The parent representatives are from provincially recognized local associations or organizations which operate to further the interests and well-being of children with special needs. Parent representatives are nominated by their organization and appointed by the Board to serve on S.E.A.C. Membership is for a four year term to coincide with election of trustees of the board. Up to twelve associations may be represented.

The board may also appoint one or more additional members (members at large) who are neither representatives of a local association nor members of the board.

Trustee membership for the Greater Essex County District School Board is two.
