Physical Supports

Services programs provide non-medical personal

tasks of daily living to adults with permanent
physical disability. Attendant
Services are delivered on an outreach basis or at
supportive living sites associated with APPD. Additional
respite services are available to provide relief

Social and Emotional Supports

Physical Activity and Advocacy Supports

The ICHA is a Canadian
registered, charitable organization that was founded
in 1985, with a focus on providing social and recreational
activities for those in Windsor and Essex County
with mental and physical disabilities. |

Harmony in Action serves
adults who have a developmental and/or physical disability,
whom training for employment is not a realistic alternative,
by providing opportunities to experience personal
growth and social integration. |
|
Organization
formed to promote sports and social activities
for the physically disabled. Includes track and field, wheelchair
basketball, power lifting, and rifle shooting. Group
organizes and provides facilities and opportunities
for competition in the Games for the Physically Challenged. |

Provides
access to hockey for persons with physical
disabilities alongside able-bodied athletes. Junior
and intermediate divisions offered. |
|
Physical,
mental, and emotional therapy through horseback
riding. Provides
physiotherapy, psychological and recreational therapy
and motivation. Improves coordination, posture,
