PEER Pals Program
See
pictures here!
M rs. Ferrari and Mrs. Thompson began our PEER Pals program on Wednesday February
17th. It was a huge success! Many Davis students enjoyed participating in the
games. PEER
Pals stands for Peers Establishing Effective Relationships.
Our PEER Pal leaders are students from grades 4 to 8. These leaders are responsible
for
g a t h e r i n g e q u i p m e n t , setting up their game, teaching the rules
and
e n c o u r a g i n g positive participation of all players.
Davis students are invited to be a part of these games on
Monday, Wednesday and Friday lunch recesses.
Some of the games are: Scoopball, Ultimate Frisbee, Four Squares, Broomball,
Possums in the
Tree and Red Light, Green Light.
The focus of this program is to encourage students to be positive role models,
encourage the
development of leadership skills and promote positive play interactions with
all students who
attend Davis school.
The Drama Club is busy preparing for their May performance.

The Davis Intermediate Science Fair will be held on Friday,

the exhibits during this time. Davis students will be invited
