About a third of semester remains now. That's plenty of time for students to improve their marks, maintain excellent marks, and otherwise finish the school year strongly.

Week of April 2

The Fraser Institute has ranked BRDHS 50th of 718 schools in Ontario on their most recent School Report Card. This report ranks schools on a number of criteria – most significantly, the scores on the EQAO tests – Grade 9 mathematics and the English Literacy test (OSSLT). Way to go Nobles!.

Week of March 19

Welcome back students. We will have a OSSLT (Literacy Test) practice test this Thursday, March 22. The actual test is the following Thursday, March 29.

Graduate and Graduation Information

Please complete this form no later than May 18, 2012. This information is used for the Graduation ceremony, as well as for bursary allocation by the BRDHS Awards Committee.

If you wish to modify your information, simply complete the form again. The committee will use the most recent information submitted.

Don't forget that Grad Gown fees are due no later than April 4, 2012 .

Week of March 5

The highlight of this week will be the Parent Teacher Interviews on Wednesday, March 7. Parents are asked to come between 4:00 and 7:00 PM. Parking is available in the parking lot at the rear of the school.

Public School Registration

Public School Kindergarten registration is taking place from February 13 through February 24.

There will be a Public Elementary Open House on February 15 from 5:30 to 7:00 PM at all public elementary schools.

Tuesday, January 10, 2012, Grade 8 Night

Current grade 8 student and their parents were invited to attend the Belle River District High School Parent Information Night.

A presentation and tour highlighted school programs and opportunities for extracurricular involvement, among other things.

Daily Schedule

Monday through Friday we have the following time table.

On Fridays, we follow a DEAR (Drop Everything And Read) schedule in order to accomodate a universal reading time for all students and staff at the beginning of period two.
