The Parenting and Family Literacy Centre

The Parenting and Family Literacy Centre is located in Room 162 in Begley Public School.

Opened in September 2007, this program offers parents and children (birth to 6 years of age) an opportunity to participate in play-based learning activities.

    

Children get the chance to imagine, play, sing, read stories and make new friends. Parents/caregivers will learn about our school and meet other families.

It is a free program and no registration is required.

If you have a child who has registered for JK this coming September, you are welcome to visit our Parenting and Family Literacy Centre. Although school does not start until September for your little one, our program is open to help you and your child get ready for kindergarten. We hope you will take the opportunity to visit.

We are open:

  •  Monday and Friday from 8:45am to 12:45pm

  • Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11:15am to 3:15pm.
