WELCOME TO VICTORIA PUBLIC SCHOOLS WEBSITE

I would like to take this time to share with everyone my excitement over starting another school year at Victoria Public School. I know this is going to be another great year!

Our school has a longstanding history of providing an exceptional learning environment for our Early Years to Grade Three students. We are a professional learning community that is focused on advocating for, nurturing and sustaining a school culture that continually strives for excellence. Our dedicated teaching and support staff utilize their individual talents and gifts for the benefit of all of our students. Our classroom organization and instructional strategies reflect the necessary attention needed to provide a balanced literacy program, universal design for learning and differentiated instruction.

I feel that part of our school's ongoing success is due, in part, to our wonderful community partnerships. Our most valuable partnership is with our School Advisory Council who have continually supported the school through their fundraising efforts which have included extensive playground renovations, literacy initiatives and staff support. This year, the School Advisory Council has pledged their support to raise funds to further enhance the books in our Take Home Reading Program.

For parents new to our area, we have a Latchkey program that provides childcare before and after school. This partnership allows our families to have their children involved in a supervised before and after school program.
