for Newly Hired Staff |
Welcome
to the Greater Essex County District School Board. We have
a very strong commitment to new teachers and it is our desire
to see you become the most effective teacher you can be. On
this page you will find links to four online modules. The
first link, Ontario Teacher Education Course (OTEC), provides
you with information that will help you to prepare for your
new assignment. The other three modules are online tutorials
that will help you to become familiar with GECDSB's electronic
communications and booking systems.
You
should be able to complete the OTEC within 30 minutes and
the three online tutorials within 30-40 minutes.

and Medianet. Each tutorial begins with information
on how to obtain a user account for each of these important
services.
